There area several position available for Image Analyst (6 months Contract & Permanent) in an international geospatial consultancy company at Kuala Lumpur with below criteria ;

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply and address the following selection criteria:

1) Knowledge and experience with image processing packages such as Ecognition, Erdas Imagine, PCI Geomatics and general GIS software

2) University degree in spatial sciences preferred

3) Experience in the geospatial industry, especially in knowledge-based land use mapping

4) Supplementary skills on GIS and environmental sciences would be an advantage

5) Experience in any phase of software development

6) Ability to work in a team environment

7) Keenness to learn the GIS tools required for advanced data analysis

8) As an international company, written and verbal English language skills are valuable



Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and utilize knowledge-based classification algorithms to create, edit, process and modify geospatial data for land cover mapping classification projects in a team oriented, production environment.
