Geospatial Revolution PDF Print E-mail

Penn State Public Broadcasting is developing the Geospatial Revolution Project, an integrated public media and outreach initiative about the world of digital mapping and how it is changing the way we think, behave, and interact.

The project will feature a web-based serial release of eight video episodes—each telling an intriguing geospatial story. I feel this series of video will fuel the interest to go into the geospatial industry.

Satellite Image Atlas of Malaysia PDF Print E-mail

Satellite Image Atlas of Malaysia is a A3-size publication with 254 pages.
It comprises four chapters, namely Malaysia in Brief, Remote Sensing for Land Applications, Remote Sensing for Coastal and Marine Applications and Remote Sensing for Disaster Management. The content is further sub-divided according to each State. Along with the images are some explaination on sensors used and the techniques used such as NDVI and SST. Overall it's a book for the general public to understand the role of satellite imagery and reference source to the practicing geospatial professional. At the moment, we don't have details on how to obtain or purchase this publication.
